The cottage is located in an un-spoilt location in the Coln Valley, nestled between the Cotswold villages of Aldsworth and Coln St Aldwyns. The latter benefits from a village shop and post office, together with a renowned public house and the active church. The nearby towns of Burford and Cirencester both offer excellent independent shopping, public houses, schools and churches. The market town of Northleach has a surgery, chemist, a post office, a butcher's shop and other stores as well as pubs and restaurants.
